Introduction
At Granum Technologies LLC, our mission is to revolutionize the fintech sector with innovative software solutions that address unmet needs. Inspired by the granum—a vital component in plant cells essential for photosynthesis—we strive to be at the core of financial technology innovation. As we expand our horizons, we're excited to introduce version 1 of our first product, creditparsepro.io, but also three new ideas we are considering for future development.
Phase 3 Due Diligence (P3DD): Streamlining Investments in Clinical Trials
One of our speculative projects, Phase 3 Due Diligence (P3DD), aims to revolutionize the way investments in clinical trials are made. P3DD would aggregate crucial information on trial progress, outcomes, and the companies behind them, offering a comprehensive view that streamlines the investment process. Investors would be able to make informed decisions based on detailed analytics and real-time data. We envision P3DD as a web app, complete with free tiers to ensure accessibility for all users. A very early stage proof-of-concept has been developed and tested but much of the value of this product relies in the predictive capabilities of the machine learning models behind it. We are expecting a 2025 release pending the success of the model training.
SQLineage.io: Unveiling Data Lineage for Enhanced Transparency
Another idea in our pipeline is SQLineage.io, a solution to the high cost of existing data lineage tools like Microsoft PurView. This Python package would initially focus on Azure, capturing lineage data in MS SQL, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Storage Accounts. By mapping data from source to sink, SQLineage.io would provide a clear picture of data transformations and movements. Our goal is to create an open-source, cost-effective tool that eventually supports other databases and cloud providers, democratizing access to vital data insights. Data dictionaries and other data management and governance tools could also be future additions to this project. We have no release date yet but we are exploring the topic.
Automated Pi-hole Network Ad Blocker
As more of a fun project we are exploring the possibility of a Pi-hole project aimed at providing a robust solution for network ad blocking. We plan to host VMs or Docker containers that users can sign up for, automating the entire process of setting up Pi-hole—a powerful network ad blocker. This service would offer an easy and efficient way for users to enhance their online privacy and security without the technical hassle.
